Why was there a big, fat, ugly black widow spider in the bathroom here at work?? AND why did I have to be the lucky one to stumble upon it???? I freaked out and made one of the male managers go into the woman's bathroom and kill the sucker. I would not have been able to focus on work knowing it was in there alive! Most importantly, what the hell was it doing in the second floor bathroom??? It's not like it'a a dark place that no one ever goes into! My contact popped out of my eye and i felt so blind! My friend had to get down on all fours in her skirt and search my cube for it. luckily, I found it, attached to my shoe, and was able to save it with some solution! I always wondered how people lost their contacts! mine have never popped out like that before! I have been bad and have skipped the gym every day so far this week! I told myself I am going today but it doesn't look good...it's too hot outside! I feel blah! and i could go on but I won't... ladeda only 2 more hours to go! |

I'm so tired this morning!! I am working on my second redbull to wake my ass up. I'm so thankful for the 3 day weekend coming up! I had a pretty good weekend! Friday night I went to Jessica's house and we had some cocktails and watched the notebook. We cried at the end! I am too damn sensitive sometimes! Saturday Sam and I went to the animal shelter to look at dogs for her to adopt. I only cried once! She didn't decide on a doggie yet, but we are going to go back soon. Sat night Jess and I went to Lucia's for Larissa's bday. We had yummy mexican food. I make a killer cheese quesadilla! lol. Sunday I saw Star Wars and I really, really liked it! The end made me sad! I knew what was going to happen but again too sensitive and i almost cried about the love story part of the movie!!! But besides that, good movie and I would go see it again. I have the worst cough and it will not go away! I have not been the same since I got home from Vegas! i don't know if it's allergies or what but it certainly sucks. Have a great Tuesday! |

So I am back from my cruise. I had the most fabulous time ever. The Caribbean Islands were just breathtaking. I have never seen a more perfect colored Ocean. I visited Saint Maarten, ST Thomas, St John and a private Island in the Bahamas. I snorkled, swam, Tanned and DRANK. Cruising is great. I got so used to being pampered. I have been kinda down since I have gotten home, though. This was one of the best times I have ever had. Going somewhere I necessarily thought I would never go, makes me realize there are so many places out there other than here. I envy people who get the chance to travel more than once a year. Work is going okay but I find myself completely bored of Insurance. Hmm,imagine that. Psycho ex won't stop calling. How do you get rid of someone that you really want to go away? I think I need to move AND change my number. lol. I really want to see The Grudge and Saw. I hope they are scary! Dawn of The Dead is out on DVD. I need to go buy it asap and watch it in the dark on Halloween. I spent $200 at Express yesterday and I only got 4 freakin items. I swear their prices have gone WAY up and it's not like they have super high quality clothes for those prices. Helllo, you aren't the Savvy department at Nordstroms! Well, ok. Back to Work. |

A TGIF is definitely in order. This week couldn't end fast enough! I am swamped today as usual. Blah. Tonight Is my sister's birthday dinner. She's turning 27. She's almost at 30! Then I am going to stop by the Nikkster's house for some cheeseball! Although, I am sure I will be full from dinner, there is always room for a cheeseball. Tomorrow I'm going to Monterey. Going to go by the Monterey Bay Aquarium first then gonna do some shopping. I have never been to Monterey before so I am quite excited. They have a baby great white right now that I am interested to see. Although, I don't quite understand why they have this shark. It has been shown that Great Whites don't survive very long in captivity. So I don't really get it. Sunday I think Sam, Lucia and I are going to go see a matinee movie. Perhaps the forgotten. I only have 21 days till my cruise! whoop whooop. |

Happy hump day
Well it's Wednesday. Thankfully this week is half over. I have been covering a co-worker's desk while she is on vacation and it has kept me super swamped. I have been coming in the office at 6am. Getting up this early is killing me!!!! My other co-worker is the most grouchiest thing in the world right now. It's highly irritating. My life is boring. I need some excitement. Who is doing something fun this weekend?????? Jessica, what are your plans? Maybe I will come downtown one night this weekend? I won't promise or anything because, well, you know. Shalini, have you seen Garden State yet? I still want to see that movie!!! My cruise is coming up in a little over 4 weeks! I'm so nervous to fly, for one. I have to be on a total of 4 planes!!! 2 planes to Florida, 2 planes on the way home. That's 4 chances for me to plummet to my death. Secondly, I am going to the Carribeans so hopefully no more hurricanes!!! I am excited to go to St.Thomas, St.John and St.Maarten, though. I'm going with my family so hopefully I can meet lots of people my age so I don't have to kick it with the fams the whole time. Let's see what else. Psycho Ex called recently. Still doesn't understand the words "Don't call me"....I don't talk to Chelsey anymore....Gisel thinks I suck because I haven't seen her new apartment yet..... Ok back to work! |

It feels like a Friday! I am so full. I went to Chipotle for lunch. Stomach has reached maximum capacity. Good thing I am going to exercise after work today. I might head over to the fair tonight. I'm undecided though. Some people are so irresponsible, it's ridiculous. An old friend I have known since elementary school found me and emailed me. She is going to be in town the latter part of October and we are going to try to get together. I haven't seen nor spoken to her since before we graduated High school. It's always interesting to hear what people have been up to. She has been married twice already and her younger sister who I remember being a bratty little squirt is also married with a little girl. I ran into 2 old friends I graduated with and they both have kids. Whats the deal? It seems like pretty much everyone I went to school with is married and/or has kids! And I am still here looking for someone half way decent to date! I sit and wonder why I can't find someone with potential. I don't think there is anything terribly wrong with me. haha. But maybe there is. Maybe there is something that I am not seeing. Sure I don't go out to the bars too much anymore but I can't believe that the bar is where I would find a guy. anyhoo, I'm rambling. Moving right along.... I want to see Garden State. The more Jessica talks about it, the more I wanna see it!!!! I kinda want to see that new movie that is coming out with Josh Hartnett, too. I forget the name. I am soo happy we have a 3 day weekend coming up!!!! Oh while I was at Chipotle, there was a guy in line that worked at a car place, i forget what dealership it said on his tag. Howdy. IT's almost time for me to go home and I am very excited to be off work, let me tell you. It has been a busy week thus far. So last night, my cat woke me up around 11. I got up and got a drink of water and went back to bed. I woke up again around 12:30 or so. The touch lamp next to my bed was on. Mind you, it wasn't on when I previously woke up. I scan the room and nothing. My cat was laying at the end of my bed and i was on the complete other side so there was no way i could have accidentally touched the lamp and turned it on. I tried not to give it too much thought to avoid freaking myself out over nothing. I touched the lamp and turned it off. I went back to sleep and woke up again close to 2am. The lamp was on again!!!!!!!! There was no way my cat could have got to the lamp. my alarm clock, phone and pipe were all blocking the lamp so she would have knocked it all over. I couldn't fall back asleep for another hour. That was the first time I have ever freaked myself out since living alone. So I decided I have a ghost. That or I had a power surge. But the ghost sounds more dramatic. So many August birthdays. I heard the month of August has the highest birth rate. Shalini, we still need to get together. Let's push for next week sometime.
